Design Notes

Overhead space, put to work.

Add fighter-aircraft-style overhead controls to your Suzuki Jimny with the Urnieta Salado roof console kit. It's compatible with the 3-door (JB74) and 5-door (JC74), and the main housing colour matches the Jimny roof.

The vertical panel carries switches, a dimmer and storage. The horizontal assembly adds an integrated radio speaker, tinted sun visors and storage.

Installation overview.

Installation should be completed by a qualified workshop using the supplied hardware and current installation documentation.

PREPARE VEHICLE

Remove the original sun visors, sun visor clips, and the front reading light and switch.

MOUNT BRACKETS

Fit the support brackets, then the sun visor front bracket, the rearview mirror with speaker bracket, the main bracket and the ACC cover. Start all screws without fully tightening them, so you can adjust later.

FIT HOUSING AND WIRE

Install the sun visor box body, adjust the brackets into position, tighten them and refit the rearview mirror. Mount the radio panel and route the wiring, leaving 30 cm of the console and panel harness, red to ACC and black to negative.

MOUNT CONSOLE

Mount the console on its rails for the 3-door, or with the 5-door mounting plate for the 5-door. Clip the edge trim into the side gap and tighten all screws.

UHF radio inserts.

The console comes with UHF radio inserts cut for different radios, or you can leave the opening open. No radio included. The openings are the same on every URNIETA roof console, so the inserts interchange. Measure your radio's control head against these before you order.
