Most rear bars get bolted on as an afterthought. The Urnieta rear bumper kit is drawn off the same design brief as the Urnieta front bull bar, so your 70 Series reads as one vehicle, with a welded 53 mm × 53 mm square hitch and independent swing carriers.

The Urnieta rear bumper kit is built for OEM level integration and extreme off-road utility on the LC70. It's a chassis-mounted, fully welded bumper and tow hitch assembly with a 53 mm × 53 mm square hitch, and the dust cap is included.
Your spare tyres ride on independent swing carriers. The swing-arm spindle is welded to the bumper, not linked to the tailgate, and both arms have bi-directional hydraulic dampers. A stainless steel latch and an anti-drop safety pin hold them shut.
A multifunction storage box module comes with it, with a lockable anti-theft drawer, a 17 L outdoor gear canister, built-in tie-down anchors, a reverse camera mount and a flag or antenna mount. It fits the LC71, LC76 and LC78.

INDEPENDENT SWING CARRIERS
The swing-arm spindle is welded to the bumper and isn't linked to the tailgate. Both arms have bi-directional hydraulic dampers.
SINGLE OR DUAL SPARES
Single or dual spare tyre setups with an adjustable position. A dual setup stays within the body width, up to 285 tyre OD, and the tailgate still opens fully.
TOW HITCH ASSEMBLY
A chassis-mounted, fully welded structure with a 53 mm × 53 mm square hitch. The dust cap is included.

Installation overview.
PREPARE VEHICLE
Remove the original rear bumper, taillights, fog lights, spare tyre brackets, licence plate hardware and camera. Confirm all supplied parts and your model.
BUILD LIGHTS & CAMERA
Assemble the taillights, fog lamps and the original camera onto their new brackets, then mount them to the new rear bumper.
MOUNT REAR BUMPER
Fit the model-specific support brackets, connect the wiring harness and jack the bumper onto the chassis rails, then fit the carriers and torque all hardware to spec.
