The factory Prado remote does its job, but the plastic shell it comes in was never built to last. The Urnieta key shell replaces that shell entirely with CNC-machined aluminium wrapped in hand-stitched leather, so your remote feels like the rest of your interior.
The swap is straightforward. Your original chip, battery and buttons transfer directly into the Urnieta shell in around five minutes. No dealer visit, no re-pairing, no programming. Everything works exactly as it did from the factory, just housed in something worth pulling out of your pocket.

CNC-MACHINED ALUMINIUM
Precision-machined alloy construction replaces the factory plastic shell with a solid housing that resists flex and wear.
HAND-STITCHED LEATHER
Each shell is trimmed in leather and stitched by hand, with the Urnieta logo embossed on the face for a clean, premium finish.
NO RE-PAIRING
Your factory chip and buttons transfer directly into the new shell. The remote works exactly as before, with zero reprogramming.

Installation overview.
OPEN THE FACTORY SHELL
Release the factory plastic remote shell using the included pry tool or a small flat blade. Take care not to damage the internals.
TRANSFER THE INTERNALS
Lift out the circuit board, chip, battery and buttons and place them into the Urnieta aluminium shell. Everything seats directly into position.
CLOSE AND TEST
Secure the new shell and test all buttons to confirm normal operation. You won't need to re-pair to the vehicle.
