The factory steel bonnet on your 2007-2023 70 Series works, but it carries weight it doesn't need to. The Urnieta carbon bonnet kit swaps it for a vented dry carbon panel that trims mass from the nose and shows the weave under a clear finish.

Steel out, carbon in.
The factory steel bonnet on the 70 Series does the job, but it carries weight it doesn't need to, right over the front axle. The Urnieta carbon bonnet kit swaps it for a dry carbon panel and takes that weight off the nose.
The panel is laid up from prepreg carbon, vacuum-bagged and cured in an autoclave, with the weave left visible under a clear finish. Functional vents sit over the hottest part of the engine bay and let hot air out.
It bolts to the factory hinges, accepts the factory latch and takes the factory bonnet prop. No body modification.

DRY CARBON, AUTOCLAVE-CURED
Prepreg carbon is laid by hand into a tooled mould, vacuum-bagged and cured under 6 bar of pressure in an autoclave.
VENTED FOR ENGINE BAY HEAT
Functional vents sit over the turbo housing on diesel models and the exhaust manifold on the V8, and let rising hot air out of the engine bay.
BOLT-ON FITMENT
Bolts to the factory hinges, accepts the factory latch and takes the factory bonnet prop. No body modification.

REMOVE FACTORY BONNET
Remove the original bonnet and check the supplied parts against the list.
MOUNT THE CARBON BONNET
Fit the carbon bonnet using the adjustable screws built into it. Leave the lock off for now.
ADJUST AND SECURE
Use the adjustment screws to set even gaps on both sides. Adjust the lock tongue length, fit the lock body bracket, then tighten all hardware to spec.
