The PS1-216 is a 6.5" Premium Series 2-way component system for builds where staging and long-term durability both matter. You get 1" Magnesium WideSphere tweeters running with aerated paper and mica composite cones, so dispersion stays wide and controlled without the harshness you get from conventional metal domes. The external passive crossovers use a Cauer-topology Butterworth design with tight-tolerance parts, which keeps the hand-off clean and matched across both channels. The aerospace-grade PA66 frame is reinforced with 30% glass fibre to resist the flex and resonance that undo lesser enclosures on corrugated tracks. Active frame venting and PTC tweeter protection keep it honest over the long haul.

Cauer-Topology Butterworth Crossover
The external passive crossover network uses a Cauer-topology Butterworth design with tight-tolerance components. You get a precise 12 dB/octave roll-off and a phase-coherent hand-off between woofer and tweeter.
Tunable Tweeter Waveguide with Removable Phase Lens
The tweeter housing has an adjustable waveguide and a removable phase lens. That gives you real control over dispersion angle and high-frequency focus to suit the cabin shape of a 70 Series.
Aerospace-Grade PA66 Composite Frame
The 30% glass-fibre-reinforced PA66 frame resists flex, resonance and UV degradation. Stainless steel push-insert connectors and active cooling through frame venting keep it working in harsh conditions.
