LP9 Racer Edition LED Auxiliary Light Pod A tight spot beam for high speed, with 200 degrees of peripheral fill
A standard spot beam runs out of reach when you pick up the pace. The LP9 Racer Edition throws a tighter pattern further down the trail, with six IPT LEDs per side filling in the edges.

Why the Racer Edition exists.
Baja Designs took what they learned from their 8-inch La Paz HID and built the LP9 around it. You get nine forward-projecting LEDs making 11,025 lumens at 105 watts. Six more run Integrated Peripheral Technology, adding 1,140 lumens per side across a full 200-degree spread. So you keep the long-range punch and still see what's beside you.
The Racer Edition is set up for high-speed driving. Power draw sits close to the standard LP9, but the beam is much tighter, so usable light pushes further down the road or trail. Direct Ducted Cooling channels airflow from the front face through to the rear and keeps temperatures in check on long runs.
Three power modes: daytime running light, low and high. uService technology means you can swap the lenses and optics yourself when the pattern or the colour no longer suits the conditions. Clear gives you maximum output. Amber cuts glare in dust and fog.
Built around real technology.
USERVICE
Change the beam pattern or the lens colour yourself with replaceable lenses and optics. Nothing gets sent away for service. Adapt the LP9 to different conditions, or freshen up the look.
IPT PERIPHERAL LIGHTING
Six dedicated LEDs give you 1,140 lumens per side across a 200-degree spread. That's the wide zone a pure spot beam leaves dark.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
Airflow runs from the front face through to the rear, so heat disperses while you're working the light hard. That's what protects LED life over the long term.
