Light where you need it most.
Your factory dome light was an afterthought. It's dim, it's narrow and it's in the wrong spot, so you end up feeling around in the dark for gear, or squinting at a tyre on the side of a track. Baja Designs built this LED dome light to fix that for good.
The 180-degree clear optic floods a wide area with even light, so you get no harsh hot spots and no dark corners. It runs on 12V and it's fully waterproof, so you can fit it in the cab, under the bonnet, in a drawer system, in a canopy or tucked into a wheel arch without worrying about moisture.
The switch is built in. You don't need a relay or a switch panel, just connect it to a 12-volt source and you're done. The unit can get hot over a long session, so let it cool before you handle it.
Built for real-world use.
WATERPROOF HOUSING
Fully waterproof construction, so you can mount it in exposed spots: engine bays, wheel wells and inside a canopy. Moisture ingress isn't a concern.
180° CLEAR OPTIC
The wide 180-degree optic spreads light evenly across a broad area. You lose the dark spots and patchy coverage you get from a narrow-beam dome light.
INTEGRATED SWITCH
The on/off switch is built into the unit, so there's no extra wiring hardware and no separate switch panel. Connect it to 12V and you're ready to go.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR LOCATION
Pick a mounting surface in your cab, canopy, engine bay, wheel well or anywhere else you need light. The waterproof housing means the only limit is where you can get 12V power.
MOUNT THE LIGHT
Fix the dome light to your chosen surface with fasteners suited to that material. Make sure the lens faces the area you want lit.
CONNECT TO 12V POWER
Run your wiring to a suitable 12-volt source. Connect the positive and negative leads, then test the built-in switch to confirm the light works.
