Installation overview.
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY
Use a 10 mm socket to disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait at least 10 minutes before handling the airbag.
REMOVE THE AIRBAG
Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully release and remove the factory airbag from the original steering wheel. Set it aside safely.
REMOVE THE ORIGINAL WHEEL
Use a 19 mm deep socket to remove the retaining nut and pull the factory steering wheel from the column.
FIT THE CLASSIC CARBON
Mount the new steering wheel onto the column, torque the retaining nut, transfer the airbag, reconnect the battery and confirm all controls are working.
