The factory gear knob is an afterthought on most Toyotas. It's plastic, hollow and sized for no one in particular. The Nova is machined from 7075 billet aluminium, the same alloy used in high-load structural applications, so it feels solid the moment your hand sits on it.
The teardrop profile keeps your wrist in a natural position whether you're short-shifting on the highway or working through the gears on a track. At 150 g it carries enough weight to feel planted without tiring your arm on long drives. It includes a thread adaptor and fits the M12 × 1.25 shifter thread found across Toyota 70, 80 and 100 Series LandCruisers and the Hilux N70.

REMOVE THE FACTORY KNOB
Unscrew your existing gear knob anticlockwise. Some models have a locking collar or retaining clip, so remove this first.
FIT THE THREAD ADAPTOR
Thread the included M12 × 1.25 adaptor onto the shifter shaft and hand-tighten until snug.
INSTALL THE NOVA
Screw the Nova Gear Knob onto the adaptor anticlockwise (left-hand thread), lining it up to your preferred position, then tighten firmly by hand.
