The MBQuart Discus DK2-116 is a 6.5" 2-way coaxial speaker pair built as a direct factory replacement. It brings an aluminium inverted dome tweeter and a polypropylene cone to a spot that was never meant to impress.
The Discus DK2-116 gives you a genuine upgrade without cutting new holes or fabricating custom baffles. The 6.5" footprint drops straight into most factory speaker locations, and the heavy gauge steel basket paired with a ferrite magnet motor keeps the assembly solid on corrugated tracks and rough terrain. An aluminium inverted dome tweeter handles the high-frequency detail, giving you fast transient response and controlled dispersion across the cabin. The polypropylene cone is bonded to a butyl rubber surround with high-temperature adhesive, so it resists the heat cycles that are a daily reality in Australian conditions. Spade or solder connection options and tinsel leads keep the install straightforward and clean.
