Baja Designs engineered the S8 around a deceptively slim profile that still delivers serious output. Eight LEDs per 10-inch section are driven at 100 percent via CopperDrive technology, meaning every LED is working at full capacity rather than being derated for longevity at the expense of performance.
The 5000K daylight colour temperature cuts through the dark without the blue tint that causes eye fatigue on long night drives, while the built-in amber backlight adds a distinctive look and a secondary lighting mode when you need reduced intensity. High-performance reflectors push the light exactly where the spot pattern is needed, making the 50-inch S8 a serious tool for high-speed touring and outback tracks.
Every S8 ships with Baja Designs' uService replaceable lenses and optics, so if the lens takes a knock on the trail you can replace it without retiring the whole bar. MoistureBlock construction makes the unit waterproof, rain-proof and submersible, ready for creek crossings and muddy conditions without hesitation.

Installation overview.
MOUNT THE BAR
Fit the S8 to your chosen mounting bracket on the bull bar, roof rack or A-pillar mount. Ensure the bracket is rated for a 50-inch bar and torque all fasteners to the bracket manufacturer's specification.
RUN THE HARNESS
Route harness 640122 from the battery to the light bar, keeping wiring clear of hot engine components, sharp edges and moving parts. Use supplied grommets where the harness passes through the firewall.
CONNECT AND TEST
Connect the harness to the S8 and to the switch in the cabin. Test both the main spot beam and the amber backlight mode before finalising cable management with ties and conduit.
