Most light bars compromise either output or profile. The S8 refuses to pick one. Baja Designs packs eight high-performance LEDs into every 10-inch section, pairing precision reflectors with a drive-combo beam that pushes light down the road where you actually need it, without the wash and scatter that leaves you squinting at shadows.
The 5000 K daylight colour temperature keeps the scene looking natural and reduces driver fatigue on long night stages or remote touring runs. Add the amber backlight option and the S8 becomes as distinctive as it is functional, giving you a running glow that works as a marker light and a serious style statement in one.

AMBR BACKLIGHT
An integrated amber backlight runs the full length of the bar, giving you a distinctive running light and added visibility without a separate pod or wiring run.

The S8 is fully waterproof, rain-proof and submersible, so creek crossings and heavy downpours are not a concern.
Installation overview.
SELECT YOUR HARNESS
Order harness 640122 (On/Off with mode switch for backlight control) before installation. Harness 640115 (On/Off 3-pin) is suited to single bars in the 10-to-30-inch range only and is not appropriate for the 50-inch bar.
MOUNT THE BAR
Fit the S8 to your chosen roof rack, bull bar or mounting bracket using the bar's standard mounting points. Ensure the bracket hardware is torqued to specification and the bar is level.
ROUTE AND CONNECT WIRING
Run the harness from the battery, through the firewall or along existing looms to the bar. Connect the harness plug to the S8 and secure all cabling clear of heat sources and moving parts.
TEST BEAM AND BACKLIGHT
With the harness mode switch, test both the main drive-combo beam and the amber backlight independently. Adjust the bar angle to suit your preferred road coverage before final tightening.
