Baja Designs engineered the S8 series around a deceptively slim profile that packs eight high-performance LEDs into every 10-inch section. The result is a light bar that punches well above its size, pushing clean 5000K daylight-balanced output that reduces driver fatigue on long nights behind the wheel.
The amber backlight is more than a style feature. It gives you a secondary lighting mode that is easy on the eyes around camp, kind to oncoming traffic, and genuinely useful in dusty or foggy conditions where white light scatters. Pair it with the right harness (sold separately) and you can switch between modes without leaving the cab.
Every S8 is built with CopperDrive technology, meaning each LED is driven at 100 percent of its rated capacity, and MoistureBlock sealing keeps the internals waterproof and submersible. The uService system means lenses and optics are field-replaceable, so the bar can be serviced rather than scrapped.

CHOOSE YOUR HARNESS
Select harness 640122 if you want On/Off control with a dedicated mode switch for the amber backlight, or harness 640115 for a straightforward On/Off 3-pin setup suited to one light from 10 to 30 inches.
MOUNT THE BAR
The S8 uses standard Baja Designs mounting tabs. Fit to a suitable bull bar, roof rack or A-pillar bracket using the supplied hardware, ensuring the bar is level and has adequate airflow around the housing.
WIRE AND TEST
Connect to your chosen harness following the included instructions. Test both the main driving output and the amber backlight mode before heading out to confirm both circuits are operating correctly.
