Built for the track ahead.
Baja Designs engineered the S8 series for drivers who refuse to slow down when the sun goes down. The S8 light bar sits at the top of the Baja Designs catalogue, combining premium LED output with precision-machined optics that have been proven in some of the world's most demanding off-road racing environments.
The wide cornering beam pattern is purpose-built to illuminate the shoulders and edges of trails, giving you a wide horizontal spread rather than a narrow pencil beam. It works hard as a standalone bar mounted to a bull bar or roof rack, or pairs naturally with a spot or driving light setup to fill in the gaps on either side.
Clear lens construction keeps the optic clean and maximises light transmission, while the straight bar profile makes fitment straightforward across a wide range of mounting brackets and vehicle platforms.
S8 Series features.
WIDE CORNERING OPTIC
A broad horizontal beam spread illuminates the sides of the trail, making low-speed technical driving and tight corners significantly safer.
CLEAR LENS
The clear lens maximises light output and keeps the beam pattern true, with no colour shift or diffusion introduced by tinted materials.
S8 SERIES PEDIGREE
The S8 is Baja Designs' flagship LED series, built to race-proven standards and trusted by professional off-road teams worldwide.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR POSITION
Decide on your mounting location, whether that's a bull bar, roof rack, windscreen frame or custom bracket. The wide cornering pattern works best positioned low and forward for maximum side-spread coverage.
MOUNT THE BAR
Secure the bar using the end mounting tabs with appropriate hardware. Confirm the bar is level and the beam angle is directed correctly before final tightening.
WIRE TO A SWITCH OR HARNESS
Connect the light bar to a quality wiring harness with an inline relay and fuse. Run wiring away from heat sources and secure with cable ties to prevent chafing on the trail.
