Baja Designs engineered the S8 around a simple idea: fit more usable light into less space. Eight LEDs per 10-inch section, paired with high-performance reflectors, produce a wide driving combo beam that lights up the road and the terrain beside it, without the bulk of older-generation bars.
The 5000K daylight colour temperature reduces driver fatigue on long nights, keeping colours natural and contrast sharp. Add in the signature amber backlight and the S8 does double duty as a functional accent that sets your build apart.
Every S8 ships with Baja Designs' full suite of technology including MoistureBlock waterproofing, CopperDrive 100-percent LED drive current, and uService replaceable lenses and optics, so this bar is built to last and easy to maintain in the field.

COPPERDRIVE
Every LED is driven at 100 percent current capacity, extracting maximum output and consistency from each diode across the bar's full lifespan.

CHOOSE YOUR HARNESS
Select harness 640122 if you want independent On/Off control of the amber backlight via a mode switch. Choose 640115 for a straightforward On/Off 3-pin setup suited to a single light in the 10 to 30-inch range.
POSITION THE BAR
Determine your mount location, whether that is a bumper, roof rack or A-pillar bracket, and align the bar so the driving combo beam projects along your intended path without hood or bonnet intrusion.
CONNECT AND AIM
Wire through the chosen harness, connect to a switched 12V source, then aim the bar at the recommended angle for your mount height. Secure all connections and verify the backlight mode operates as expected.
