Wide amber light, exactly where you need it.
Baja Designs built their reputation on lighting that performs when the track gets technical. The S1 pod sits at the heart of that philosophy, packing genuine off-road LED performance into a small, versatile package that mounts almost anywhere on your 4WD or overland rig.
The amber wide/corner output is chosen for a reason. Amber light cuts through dust, rain and fog more effectively than white flood beams, spreading illumination wide across corners, tracks and campsites without washing out your vision. Paired with your main driving lights, these pods fill in the near-field gaps that a pencil or spot beam simply cannot cover.
Supplied as a matched pair in a blacked-out housing, the S1 pods keep your build looking clean and purposeful. Whether you are mounting them to a bull bar, roof rack, A-pillar bracket or rock slider, the compact form factor makes fitment straightforward.
S1 Pod features.
AMBER WIDE/CORNER BEAM
The amber wide/corner optic spreads light broadly to the sides, improving close-range visibility in dust, rain and low-contrast terrain where a pure white spot beam falls short.
BLACKED-OUT HOUSING
The matte black housing keeps the pods low-profile and matched to most modern 4WD accessories and bar work, without drawing unwanted attention in daylight.
SOLD AS A PAIR
You receive two matched S1 pods so your left and right sides are lit evenly straight out of the box, with no need to source a second unit separately.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR POSITION
Common mounting points include bull bar wings, A-pillar pods, roof rack front rails and rock sliders. Pick a position that gives the amber wide beam room to spread without obstruction.
SECURE THE BRACKET
Use the supplied or compatible bracket hardware to fix each pod firmly. Ensure the mounting surface is solid and that the pod angle can be adjusted to suit your terrain.
RUN THE WIRING
Route the wiring away from heat sources and moving parts, securing with conduit or loom wrap. Connect via a relay and fused circuit to protect your vehicle's electrical system.
AIM AND TEST
Power the pods and adjust the aim so the wide/corner beam covers the intended zone. Check for any vibration in the mount before heading out.
