Two beams, one bar.
Most light bars give you one output and call it done. The OnX6 Dual Control changes that by packing two distinct lighting zones into a single 30-inch straight housing. Run the Drive beam on its own for long-range piercing coverage on open tracks, switch in the Combo output for a broader flood when you need to light up a campsite or pick your way through tight scrub, or fire both zones together for maximum coverage.
The inclusion of both clear and amber lenses means you are also covered when conditions turn. Amber cuts through dust, fog and smoke with far less glare scatter than white light, making it the smarter choice on corrugated outback roads or in wet weather. Having both colours on tap from the one bar keeps your bull bar clean and your wiring simple.
Built to Baja Designs' exacting standards, the OnX6 series is engineered for serious off-road use. Whether you are touring the high country, crossing the Simpson or doing weekend dual-sport riding, this bar is designed to keep up.
OnX6 Dual Control highlights.
DUAL CONTROL ZONES
Two independently switched outputs let you run Drive, Combo or both simultaneously from separate switches, so you choose exactly how much light you deploy on the trail.
DRIVE + COMBO BEAM
The Drive beam throws light long and tight down the road ahead, while the Combo pattern blends spot and flood coverage for versatile close-to-mid range illumination.
CLEAR & AMBER LENSES
Dual lens colours in one bar. White clear output for maximum distance on dry tracks, amber output to cut through dust, smoke and fog without blinding glare bounce-back.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POSITION
Select a solid mounting point on your bull bar, roof rack or windscreen surround. Confirm the 30-inch span clears your aerial, camera and any other accessories before drilling.
BOLT THE BRACKETS
Attach the supplied mounting brackets to the bar first, then offer the assembly up to your chosen position and mark hole centres. Use stainless fasteners where possible to prevent corrosion.
RUN DUAL WIRING LOOMS
This bar requires two independent switched power feeds, one for each control zone, plus a common earth. Route looms away from heat sources, exhaust and sharp edges, and use the largest practical wire gauge for the run length.
CONNECT & SWITCH
Wire each zone to its own dash switch or relay. Confirm both zones operate independently before securing any cable ties, then tug-test all connections and seal loom entry points against moisture.
