Full-size output, sport simplicity.
The LP9 Sport carries everything that made the LP9 series a go-to choice for serious off-roaders. Direct Ducted Cooling keeps the thermal load in check during extended high-demand use, while Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) adds a genuine 200-degree spread of usable light beyond what a forward-only pod can deliver. Nine main LEDs push 9,421 lumens at 88 watts, with a further six IPT LEDs contributing 2,302 lumens at 21 watts.
Baja Designs' uService design means the lens pattern and colour can be swapped over at any time, so the light stays current with your needs without replacing the whole unit. MoistureBlock construction makes it fully waterproof and submersible, and CopperDrive technology drives every LED at 100 percent for consistent, reliable output on every trip.
The amber lens option is ideal for conditions where reduced glare and improved contrast matter, such as dust, fog or rain. Note that the LP9 Sport runs a straightforward on/off function and does not include the amber backlit accent feature or hi/lo switching, both of which are available on the LP9 Pro and Racer Editions.
Built-in technology, not bolted-on extras.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
Active thermal management channels heat away from the LEDs during sustained high-output use, protecting performance and longevity.
INTEGRATED PERIPHERAL TECH (IPT)
Six dedicated IPT LEDs expand usable light to a 200-degree spread, illuminating the environment well beyond a standard forward beam.
uSERVICE LENSES
Lens patterns and colours are fully user-replaceable in the field, so you can adapt the light to different conditions or refresh the optics without buying a new unit.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POINT
Select a solid mounting location such as a bull bar, A-pillar bracket or roof rack rail that provides a clear forward sightline and minimises vibration transfer.
SECURE THE POD
Attach the LP9 Sport using the appropriate bracket hardware for your mount point, ensuring the fasteners are torqued firmly to prevent movement on corrugated tracks.
ROUTE AND CONNECT WIRING
Run the wiring loom away from heat sources and sharp edges, securing it at regular intervals. Connect to a quality relay and fuse harness sized for the combined wattage draw.
AIM AND TEST
Power the light on and adjust the aim angle before final tightening. Confirm the beam pattern suits your intended use and that all connections are sealed against moisture.
