Inspired by Baja Designs' iconic 8-inch La Paz HID, the LP9 brings that proven heritage into the LED era with contemporary styling and some of today's most advanced lighting technologies. The Racer Edition takes the standard LP9 formula and tightens the beam pattern, pushing usable light further down the track or trail where high-speed navigation demands it most.
Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) adds six dedicated LEDs per side to push light 200 degrees around the pod, eliminating the dark edges that traditional auxiliary lights leave behind. The housing is engineered for Direct Ducted Cooling, channelling airflow from front to rear for effective heat dispersion over long runs.
uService technology means the LP9 is genuinely future-proof. Lenses and optics are user-replaceable, so you can swap beam patterns or refresh the lens without replacing the entire unit. Combine that with a 5000 K colour temperature that reduces driver fatigue on long nights, and the LP9 Racer Edition is ready for whatever the terrain demands.

INTEGRATED PERIPHERAL TECHNOLOGY
Six dedicated IPT LEDs per side create a 200-degree spread of usable light, filling in the peripheral zones that a forward-only beam misses.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
The housing is engineered to channel airflow from the front to the rear of the pod, keeping temperatures in check during extended high-power use.
uSERVICE REPLACEABLE OPTICS
Lenses and optics can be swapped by the user at any time, letting you change beam pattern or colour to suit conditions, or simply refresh a worn lens.

CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POSITION
Select a solid mounting point on your bull bar, roof rack, A-pillar bracket or bumper that keeps the pods clear of bonnet lift, airflow and rock strike zones.
SECURE THE POD
Fit the pod to your chosen bracket using the supplied hardware. Confirm the pod is aimed correctly for your intended beam distance before fully tightening.
WIRE TO A SWITCHED SOURCE
Run wiring through a quality relay and fuse directly to the battery. Use Baja Designs' wiring harness accessories where possible for a clean, protected install.
VERIFY MODES AND ALIGNMENT
Power up and cycle through DRL, low and high modes to confirm operation, then do a final beam alignment check on a flat surface before heading out.
