Born from a legend.
The LP9 Pro traces its lineage directly to the Baja Designs La Paz HID, one of the most respected off-road lights ever made. Modern LED technology and years of race-proven engineering have been packed into a housing that pushes serious light into all three near-to-mid-field lighting zones at once.
The Driving/Combo pattern pairs 42-degree driving optics with 8-degree spot optics in a single lens, giving you smooth, usable light from your feet to well down the trail without swapping lights or adding extra pods. Integrated Peripheral Technology adds a sweeping 200-degree spread so obstacles at the edge of your vision are illuminated, not hidden.
Three power modes, including a daytime running light mode, low and high, mean the LP9 Pro adapts to conditions rather than forcing you to. The amber backlight lets you personalise your build for shows or photo shoots. Note: coloured backlights are for exhibition use only and must not be used on public roads.
Built around real technology.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
Proprietary DDC technology channels airflow from the front of the housing over the rear heat sinks, dramatically increasing cooling capacity and protecting LED performance over the long term.
200° IPT SPREAD
Six dedicated Integrated Peripheral Technology LEDs throw light across a full 200-degree arc, flooding the sides of the trail and eliminating the dark edges that standard pods leave behind.
THREE POWER MODES
Daytime running light, low and high modes are built in, so you have the right output for every situation without any additional controllers or wiring complexity.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POINT
Select a solid mounting location such as a bull bar, A-pillar bracket, roof rack or bumper. Ensure the chosen point provides a clear, unobstructed beam path and is structurally capable of handling vibration loads at speed.
SECURE THE POD
Attach the LP9 Pro using the supplied hardware. Adjust the tilt angle before fully tightening so the beam is aligned to your preferred lighting zone coverage on flat ground.
ROUTE AND CONNECT WIRING
Run the harness back to your switch or relay kit, keeping wiring away from exhaust heat and moving components. Use a quality relay-switched harness to protect your vehicle's factory loom and ensure the light draws full power.
VERIFY ALIGNMENT AND MODES
Power on the light and confirm all three modes (DRL, low, high) operate correctly. Fine-tune vertical aim as needed before hitting the trail.
