Why wide cornering changes everything.
Most auxiliary lights chase distance. Tight trails, winding fire roads and dense scrub punish you in the corners instead. The XL80 wide cornering pattern throws a 42-degree flattened horizontal beam that fills lighting zones 1 and 2, so the blind spots are gone before you need to react.
The clear 5000K lens keeps colour rendering close to natural daylight. Your eyes read terrain faster and fatigue sets in later. You also get an 18% improvement in distance and more intensity over the previous Baja Designs model.
Every kit ships as a matched pair with a wiring harness and all mounting hardware. The powder-coated housing and anodised bezel handle the dust, mud and vibration of proper off-road use. Baja Designs backs them with a limited lifetime warranty.
XL80 Wide Cornering key features.
9,022 RAW LUMENS
Each light pushes 9,022 raw lumens. That's an 18% improvement in distance and more intensity than the previous Baja Designs model.
WIDE CORNERING PATTERN
A 42-degree flattened horizontal beam widens what you can see either side and cuts blind spots. It works in dust, rain, snow and fog, and on tight trails.
CLEAR 5000K LENS
The original Baja Designs performance lens puts out light closest to natural daylight. On long stints you pick up terrain sooner and fatigue less.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT LOCATION
Pick a solid point on your bullbar, roof rack or A-pillar. The wide cornering beam needs a clear spread forward and to the sides.
FIT THE BRACKETS
Secure both light brackets with the supplied mounting hardware. Check the alignment before you tighten fully, so the beam pattern sits at the right horizontal angle.
CONNECT THE WIRING HARNESS
Run the included harness from the lights to your battery or switch panel. It comes ready to connect, with all the connectors you need.
TEST AND ADJUST
Power the lights and check the wide cornering beam covers both sides. Adjust the bracket angle, then lock everything down.
