Design Notes

No guesswork, just light.

Buying rock lights usually drags you into relay wiring, connector pinning and working out cable lengths. Baja Designs cuts all of that out. Every lead in this kit is pre-cut to reach all four corners of a small to mid-sized vehicle, with enough slack that you can route the wiring your way.

Each light puts out 400 lumens across a wide 180-degree optic, so your wheel wells get smooth, even light. The lights are fully waterproof and you can mount them virtually anywhere on the vehicle. All you need is 12-volt power.

PRE-CUT WIRING

Every lead is pre-cut to length for small to mid-sized vehicles. There's extra slack on each run, so you can route the cables exactly where you want them.

Each of the four lights gives you 400 lumens of clear output, enough to properly light your wheel wells and undercarriage.

Installation overview.

The install is straightforward. It's a turn-key kit, so there's no relay pinning and no cable cutting.

CHOOSE YOUR LOCATIONS

Pick your mounting spots at all four corners, inside the wheel wells or along the rocker panels.

MOUNT THE LIGHTS

Fix each light to the surface you've chosen. They're compact and waterproof, so most smooth surfaces will do.

ROUTE THE WIRING

Run each pre-cut lead from its light back to your 12V power source. Use the built-in slack to follow the path you want.

CONNECT POWER

Connect to a switched 12V source. Rock lights can get very hot over a long run, so keep the wiring and mounts clear of heat-sensitive surfaces.
