The R35 GT-R is a precision machine. Its infotainment should match. The factory screen and MFD did the job in their day, but they fall short of what you expect from a modern GT-R. The Godzilla 14.5″ was developed specifically for the R35 to close that gap, nothing compromised.
A 14.5-inch, 1920x1200 touchscreen takes the place of your original display, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Qualcomm-powered interface into the cabin. It keeps full OEM integration too, factory gauges, climate control and backup camera support all stay, so you lose nothing.
The supplied plug-and-play wiring harness is tailored to the R35 chassis. No cutting, no coding, no complex rewiring. If your 2008 to 2010 model doesn't have a factory backup camera, you can add an optional one to finish the setup.

Installation overview.
REMOVE FACTORY UNIT
Remove the OEM screen and MFD assembly from the dash. Use proper trim tools so you don't mark the surrounding panels.
CONNECT HARNESS
Plug the supplied plug-and-play wiring harness into your vehicle's factory connector. No cutting or splicing needed.
FIT THE DISPLAY
Secure the 14.5-inch unit into the factory location. It's built to sit flush with the R35 dash opening.
CAMERA SETUP (2008 TO 2010)
If your vehicle doesn't have a factory backup camera, connect the optional camera module now, before you finish the install.
POWER ON AND PAIR
Power on the unit and connect your device wirelessly through CarPlay or Android Auto. Check that all OEM functions, including gauges and climate control, are working.

"Overall I am pretty happy with the product, however it would be much simpler with a basic installation video. The provided instructions aren't really instructions more of an 'overview' of what's included in the box. The GTR dash comes apart so easily and this can be installed in less than 2 hours with 2 tools, a Phillips head screwdriver and a trim removal tool. Someone of lesser experience would struggle to install this kit as it can be quite confusing once the dash is taken apart and video screen disconnected etc. Also some form of 3d printer attached head for usb, sim card holder and the Bluetooth mic would be ideal, they kind of just 'flap in the breeze'. Now, the only negative thing I have to mention is in relation to the reverse camera. The description on PVS website states: 'retains factory functionality like your factory gauges, backup camera, etc.' But then the last line of the listing after INSTALLATION states: 'Optional: Backup Camera (For those who lack a factory backup camera or have a 2008-2010 factory camera)' I found this somewhat misleading as there isn't even a link to click on to order the extension backup camera, and in the description it gives the impression that you don't need one. Honestly the majority of R35 GTRS in Australia are pre 2011 cba's, so stating the camera issue or needed extension kit in a clearer, easier to read spot would be ideal. I have since had to order one which was a bit frustrating. I hope my feedback helps because I really like what you guys do at PVS and I am a huge supporter of your products, excellent quality and really good customer service. Also I have 2 GTRS a R35 and a "Hakosuka" so send me some stickers to rep the brand!! Please."
